Citations, copyright & disputes

Every material factual claim on this site is backed by a receipt. Each receipt is designed to make our work verifiable while respecting the sources on which it relies.

How we handle source material

  1. We publish analysis, not source text. Reports are written in our own words. We do not republish substantial passages from third-party works. Brief quotations may be used when necessary, clearly attributed, and permitted by applicable law.
  2. Facts remain traceable. Receipts explain what a source supports and link readers to the original document. Figures, dates, names, and other structured facts are recorded in the report's audit ledger.
  3. Internal research records are not public substitutes for sources. Source excerpts may be retained in access-controlled research records for verification, but they are not published or distributed as replacements for the original work.

We do not circumvent paywalls or access controls. Subscription sources may be cited when they are lawfully accessed, but gated content is never mirrored or reproduced as a substitute for the original.
